2015 ACEC Award of Merit

"The Environmental Facilities Corporation invests more than $1 billion dollars a year in water quality improvements throughout New York State.  They provide low cost financing for local wastewater and drinking water infrastructure, ensuring availability of clean water, protecting our environment, and providing the vital infrastructure necessary to create jobs and economic development.

Under the direction of President and CEO Matthew Driscoll, EFC has initiated an extended outreach through ACEC New York to help our firms deliver these services to local communities throughout the state.  In the last 2 years, ACEC New York and EFC have held 4 programs to educate engineers, municipal employees and other private professionals involved in this work.  For their effort in making water and wastewater infrastructure affordable and accessible to localities, we recognize the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation with the ACEC New York Award of Merit.  Accepting the award on behalf of the EFC is Matthew Driscoll, President and CEO."
